ARC Foundation brought together educators, academics parents and government to create SOGI 123 to improve life for LGBTQ+ students. PublicAffair facilitated a Discovery Session, then developed a communication strategy to help them raise awareness of their work and assist with the many issues that arise from that work.
We got them to focus on why they do their work: No child should grow up thinking they’re alone, the only one. All students should feel safe, see themselves in the world around them, be free to live their best possible life. This formed the basis of media relations, their website, and their response to issues.
PublicAffair provides ongoing issues management and has done multiple media training sessions with the ARC leadership team. Clayton Kropp designed and produced a leave behind that shows why funders should invest in ARC for social change.
