Capstone is a Canadian base metals mining company, with two producing copper mines. As part of their risk management policies they have developed an extensive crisis management response to numerous scenarios. PublicAffair was contracted to provide a real-time crisis simulation to test the senior leadership team’s ability to respond. We provided two different scenarios that tested their ability to develop effective messaging and respond to increasingly difficult scenarios with multiplying media inquiries. Company spokespeople were interviewed by ex-reporters on camera. Assessments of their performance were provided to the team immediately after the simulation.
